October sales were up for pre-existing home sales by 23.5% compared with the same month last year. October homes sales exceeded expectations at 6.1 million compared to the 5.7 million home sales that was predicted.
NAR’s chief economist who stated that, “Existing home sales have already bottomed. Home prices are almost there. We are seeing less of a decline in house values.”. The nationwide housing market’s recovery has already started to seep into the Northwestern IL Suburban real estate market.
