Living In Bartlett
An outstanding park district, convenient access to transportation, and a thriving economy make Bartlett a great place to live. Known for its small town ambiance and friendly neighborhood mom-and-pop stores, the City of Bartlett has become one of the best communities in Chicagoland for many reasons. One aspect of Bartlett that attracts new residents is its proximity to convenient transportation. Downtown Bartlett has a Metra Commuter Train Station which provides access to downtown Chicago and other areas of the Northwest Suburbs in less than an hour. Parking at the Metra Station is only a mere $1.00 per day and is payable at the lot! Try finding a better deal in downtown Chicago!
The Bartlett Park District consists of over 380 acres of land for recreational enjoyment. Apple Orchard Community Park, which is 120.5 acres, rests in the heart of the village and includes its own golf course and is home to the Bartlett Aquatic Center. Other features include tennis courts, a baseball field, a skate park, five soccer fields, four softball fields, a covered shelter for picnics, two nicely lit basketball courts, an ice rink and a nature area.
The Village of Bartlett has great shopping with hot retail spots scattered around Route 59, Stearns Road and Army Trail Road. The Bartlett Town Center, which is home to residential living, various shopping outlets and restaurants, continues to attract more and more people to Bartlett’s thriving downtown area. Although the community is growing larger, Bartlett will never lose its friendly, small-town charm that it is known for having.
